This serial number 1936 hand made 6 string acoustic with 15-inch lower bout OM/000 design and intuitive 24.9″ short scale length. This Atkin 00037 has 14 frets to the body with a 1 3/4″ nut size and woods that have been individually sorted and include selected premium Sitka top with Red Spruce bracing
Skillfully created by Alistair and his small team of dedicated craftsman this hand built Atkin OOO37 is a stunning work of musical art. It takes a much loved flat top build and lavishes premium woods and features onto its traditionally influenced no compromise build. We asked the workshop to build this Atkin OOO37 with the popular and sympathetically hand pre worn lightly relic'd " Aged Finish ". Its a staggeringly lovely finishing process that creates an instrument with the real look and character of a golden era classic, but without the inconsistencies and design issues some of those older models suffered from. and gorgeous Rosewood back and sides. Includes its official case and has Ebony bridge and fingerboard.
