This J43 has been well used with plenty of marks and scratches and knocks, but it is a gorgeous sounding guitar and plays like a dream! It also has the LR Baggs Anthem pickup that of course sounds glorious plugged in. It comes with the Hiscox hardcase.
UK made slope shouldered 6 string acoustic crafted using a wonderful Baked Sitka Spruce top and offering the discerning player meticulous attention to detail. With a rich Sunburst finish and classic looks this acoustic will be Instantly recognisable as conforming to one of the world's timeless builds. This Aged Finish version Atkin 43 packs in a sumptuous level of woods with period correct looks and stunning slope shouldered dread tone.
A tribute to a classical American build, the Forty Three by British guitar builder Atkins, is a real tasty throwback to the pre war period, and we think its especially easy on the eye. Gorgeous to look at and to play, this version comes in the Aged finish, which is thinner than the mirror finish and provides an animated played in soulful tone. A superb vintage styled guitar with an inspirational and creative full sounding voice.
The Forty Three is both direct and powerful, but with an easy-playing shorter scale length, it’s easy to see why this guitar has been favoured by so many singer-songwriters over the years. The big-bodied slope shoulder shape, combined with our Baked Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, delivers warm mids, solid lows and great definition. It’s a timeless acoustic guitar tone.
