With pre-war scalloped bracing and a baked Sitka Spruce top, this rather lovely all Maple back and sides this 6 string acoustic guitar is a latest spec Kingfisher version of the ever popular Atkin J43 build. Taking an especially tasteful and individual approach we are really liking the Celluloid Tortoise Shell Engraved and Hand Painted pickguard and Kingfisher Decal headstock logo on this Atkin Kingfisher 43, The Forty Three. This larger body size beast has a perfect blend of clear and highly musical responsive tone and wonderful carefully selected woods from a highly regarded world renowned UK workshop and guitar builder. Many experienced players will chose to use Maple above other woods when either recording or when using larger sized instruments. Maple and Sitka just work superbly well with this style and design of guitar and offers something a bit different that is also extremely versatile and will appeal to finger style players just as much as flat pickers.
