With AAA Roasted Quartersawn Flame Maple 10" Radius neck and fingerboard this Atkin The Fifty Four 54 "S" in 2 Tone Sunburst comes wit 22 Tall Narrow frets and benefits from a superb set of Atkin Handwound 50's pickups. The aging on this particular 50's Two Tone Sunburst is extraordinarily lovely and manages to perfectly pull of a tastefully aged guitars look from new. We have come to expect the very best of aging from any Atkin electric or acoustic, and this lovely 54 model is really outstanding. Tts superb responsive and perfectly blends the best of golden era character with modern day precision and uncompromising performance. Every inch of this solid body 6 string guitars build has been built with the sole purpose of producing a remarkable instrument that can perform and thrill at the highest level.
The clever chaps over at Atkin guitars have stepped into the electric realm with some incredible instruments including this gorgeous Fifty Four Strat. With a lightweight Obeche Body, Quarter Sawn Maple Neck and Atkins own Single coil pickups (that sound awesome) it comes together in a beautifully balanced package with some Very personal Atkin tweaks. It comes with a Hiscox case as well. If you are looking for timeless looks and exceptionally sympathetically Relic'd Nitro finishing with a set of lovely sounding hand wound pickups, this Atkin 54 S in 2TS should be on your radar.

Amazing modern vintage
I've owned my Atkin S 54 for several months now and it still blows me away every time I play it. I've owned more than a dozen 's' style guitars, both vintage and custom, all great guitars, but none of them felt as good as this Atkin. I felt instantly at home, the ageing process is beautifully detailed in every way and the neck feels effortless to play. The hand wound pickups sound stunning as well, full of the SRV and Rory sounds I was after. These guitars are a serious investment, but if like me, you want a guitar that feels and plays like a perfectly worn in vintage guitar, save up the coin and put one in your hands and you won't regret it.
