Something of an ultimate all-rounder the ever-popular 1-3/4" nut size 25.5" scale OM has much to offer any style of player. This premium build Collings OM1 offers players exceptional tone and finesse and blends the carefully selected Spruce and mahogany combo perfectly to create a warm and clear focused balanced initial tone with halo like harmonic shimmer dancing in the background from even the lightest of touches.
In many ways the OM1 is the quintessential Collings flat top, as it burst to life from the lightest of touches, and offers a playing performance full of character and charm. In our opinion these guys make the very best American classics bar none, and this view is shared by virtually anyone who has ever had the fortune to get to know this range in person. This guitar has a premium quality Sitka top, and benefits from some carefully selected prime Mahogany in the back and sides. We love the understated classic looks and the oh so sweet and clear tone. fingerstyle players will love the range of tone and style of sounds that it is possible to draw and pull out of this instrument. The OM1 is also a popular choice for flat pickers and all round players, as it can lend itself to any type of playing perfectly. Collings guitars sound great right out of the case, however the more you play them the better they get. This is of course true of any quality acoustic guitar brand, but it is especially so with Collings. We love the gentle mod V neck profile and note that many different styles of player with a variety of hand sizes have commented on its comfort and playability.

Simply the best
you just cannot put it down when you pick it up...on another level playing wise to anything else and this reflects in the (more than) slightly higher price but OMG this thing just enthrals and captivates. Get one!
