With a Wrap Around bridge this delightful Sunburst Antique Varnish finish P90 loaded 24 2/3" scale length understated elegant Eastman SB55/v guitar has a one piece mahogany neck with 12" radius Ebony fingerboard. This traditionally influenced solid body Antiqued guitar comes blessed with golden era looks and period character. Other impressive build specifications include a terrific 1 Piece Okoume Mahogany body and a Custom Bakalite pickguard with highly musical Lollar “50’s Spec” P90 in the bridge position. This very classic solid body simple elegant electric guitar design offers a familiar much loved instrument with some remarkable specifications at a price point that will impress any demanding pro player or collector.

The Antique Varnish finish found on the SB55/v-SB brings the guitars’ visual and tonal beauty to the forefront. Our Antique Varnish finish is smoother than lacquer, with the thinner layer of varnish from our violin shop allowing for a fuller, more wide-open resonant sound that gives these instruments a truly unique voice. The SB55/v-SB feature a Lollar “50’s Spec” P90 in the bridge position. The lower output pickup produces a brighter and more defined tone with less distortion, creating room for more chordal articulation and playing subtleties to come through. This is perfect for players looking for a warm and growling sound that doesn’t sacrifice the details.
