We set all instruments up in our workshop - About our set up process !
When you purchase a Fender guitar or bass from us our experienced workshop will carefully check and set the instrument up. Checks will include such things as general playability, intonation, neck adjustment, nut, saddle, bridge or trem operation, electronics, and general structural build quality and finishing. We will ensure any Fender is set up and playing nicely in sympathy with its design and ready to perform perfectly for you. We will always aim for a comfortable sensible action that is neither too low or too high. Taking the design and type of build into consideration, any Fender instrument you buy from us will have been on one of our work benches and looked at, tested, and adjusted, by one of our guitar techs.
We welcome any requests for a specific style of action or tuning. Depending on the request and the instrument, we are happy to set up to specific requests within reasonable sensible tolerances. Please contact us to discuss any aspect of an interments set up and playability.
Delivery times
Unlike the majority of our competitors, we do actually individually check and set up every instrument we sell. We do not rush a set up and we will not send an instrument unless it is performing correctly and has been checked and adjusted in our workshop. Although it is sometimes possible to arrange a next day shipping if agreed in advance and an order is received early enough, our normal shipping time with in stock instruments will tend to be between 2 to 4 working days from the point of receiving an order. This is just a guide and times way differ depending on the complexity of any set up and how busy we are. However, you can rest assured we will work hard to get you your new Fender as quickly as we can.
Delivery requests
We welcome any specific requests for delivery on a specific day and will always do our very best to ensure a delivery falls on a convenient day for you. So please get in touch with us by email or call us on 01392 425125 if you wish to discuss a likely day for delivery.
Once a shipment has been collected by our courier (DPD) you should receive a guide date and time of day for the delivery.
Please note that some non standard Uk locations will require a sur charge to be paid.
Extended Warranty
From July 2023 we are extending the warranty on all our non custom shop solid body electric Fender guitars and bass instruments. this is a full year than the majority of our competitors and essentially extends the manufactures period from 2 to 3 years form the day you order. Please note this warranty does not cover wear and tear and damage inflected on an instrument through though any form of misuse.
