This beautiful Chrissie Hynde Tele is in great condition with only the road worn finish showing the lacquer checking. It plays beautifully and tonally covers alot of ground seeing as it only has one pickup! It has had the pickguard changed for a black one but comes with the original and also some CH case candy.
Includes a set up in our experienced workshop and secure courier delivery.
We have just received this 21 fret 8lbs 3oz Alder body Artist series Tele finished in Faded Ice Blue Metallic with Road Worn lacquer. This sympathetically aged from new Fender Chrissie Hynde Tele Ice Blue Metallic offers the player 50's style pickups with locking tuners and 6 saddle string through-body bridge with stainless steel saddles and comes with official hard case. Thsi pre owned version has vintage inspired 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard and comes with a choice or 2 pickguard. The orginal is supplied with the guitar in the case and you will see the previous owner has fitted a tasteful black one to compliment the Ice Blue Metallic RoadWorn finish.
Telecaster in hand, Chrissie Hynde formed The Pretenders in 1979 and quickly established the band as a rock and roll powerhouse. Chrissie's churning Tele rhythms have been the heartbeat of the band's rugged sound from the very beginning.
The Chrissie Hynde Telecaster features an alder body finished in Faded Ice Blue Metallic Road Worn lacquer, a custom mid-'60s "C"-shaped maple neck with a 7.25" radius fingerboard - exactly matching Chrissie's original, vintage-output Chrissie Hynde Tele pickups and a chrome mirror pickguard - all matching the unmistakable look and feel of Hynde's treasured '65 model.Condition report - This beautiful Chrissie Hynde Tele is in great condition with only the road worn finish showing the lacquer checking.
