This Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Tele Journeyman Relic 6 string offers players a wonderful level of relic work that is not over the top but enough to provide for a truly authentic look and feel. This beautiful new guitar comes with the feel of an instrument that's been perfectly played in and well cared for. The Post Modern specifications infuse an especially versatile and creative pick up set with 60's Oval C neck profile and 9.5" radius fingerboard. This is an outstanding tele and introduces the best of Custom shop high end Contemporary guitar building with all the appeal of those classic golden era models we yearn for.

With vintage look and feel and modern touches not specific to any certain year, the Postmodern Tele gives players everything they want with amazing tone, comfort and sonic capabilities. A two-piece ash body with contoured neck heel wears a Journeyman Relic lacquer finish, while the quartersawn maple neck hosts a ’60 style “oval C” profile, 9.5”-radius quartersawn maple fingerboard and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets. Superb Hand-wound loaded ’51 Nocaster (bridge) and wide range Cunife (neck) pickups are sent through dual-stack HS Tele wiring with an angled switch and electro socket output jack. Other features include ’58-’63 Tele bridge with compensated brass RSD saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and wing string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
