Equipped with a set of Hand-Wound pickups and boasting 2-Piece Select Ash body construction. 1954 "U" 1 piece neck and 7.25" to 9.5" Vintage Compound Radius fingerboard with 21 frets and hard tail. Stratocaster. With a trio of Hand-wound 1955 Strat pickups equipped with 1954 covers, this Fender Custom Shop Vintage 55 Hardtail Strat with Time Capsule Sunburst Nitro finish has a lot of character to offer. Check out the Closet Classic hardware, single-ply eggshell pickguard, vintage-style hardtail bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and a disc string tree.

A rare and compelling find indeed, the Vintage Custom ’55 Hardtail Strat has all the tremolo-less charm needed to inspire any player, collector or aficionado. Start with a two-piece ash body finished in NOS flashcoat lacquer and add a one-piece rift-sawn maple neck with a 1954 “U” profile, vintage compound-fingerboard radius fingerboard (7.25”– 9.5”) and medium vintage 47095 frets.
