Combining some period correct specifications with modern day American Custom Shop quality this especially classic 21 fret Strat has a tasty NOS flash coat lacquer chocolate 3-colour sunburst finish. Check out the rather lovely Custom Shop Hand-Wound '59 Single-Coil Strat pickups and and Rosewood 7.25"-9.5" vintage compound fingeborad with 3-Ply Mint Green pickguard and vinatge style hardware. This Alder body version also comes with deluxe hardshell case, strap, certificate of authenticity.

1959 was a pivotal year in the annals of Stratocaster® history. It was the first year that modern features, such as rosewood fingerboards and the now-iconic 3-Color Sunburst finish made their initial appearance. The Vintage Custom 1959 Stratocaster sports both a flat-laminated rosewood fingerboard and Chocolate Three-Color Sunburst, as well as some other cool and rare features from the Stratocaster's formative years. The flash-coat lacquer finish lets the guitar breathe more freely and organically for singing sustain and warm tone. The neck features a vintage 7.25"-9.5" compound radius, which we found on some rare examples, giving it a unique feel even among vintage-inspired models. It also features medium vintage frets, which are slightly larger than regular vintage and very comfortable to play.
