Built from laminated maple with parallel bracing, the Studiomatic delivers the lively, open response players expect from a premium hollow body. The 2.25” deep body and arched top and back help produce a balanced voice with plenty of projection, warmth, and clarity. Whether strummed acoustically or pushed through an amp, the natural resonance makes every note feel full and articulate, perfect for jazz, rock ’n’ roll, indie, and beyond.

A pair of custom Filter’Tron pickups provides the Studiomatic with its punchy, articulate core sound. These pickups balance low-end focus with sparkling highs, ensuring definition even in complex chord voicings. Paired with the Rumble Filter’s two-position rotary selector and push/pull pots, the Studiomatic delivers a wide palette of tones, from smooth vintage warmth to more modern, studio-inspired textures.

The Classic C maple neck and bound ebony fingerboard offer a fast, refined feel that suits both rhythm and lead work. Gretsch’s Adjusto-Matic bridge keeps everything stable, while the Bigsby B60 tailpiece encourages dynamic vibrato expression.
