If we were asked to select just one electro acoustic from the entire Takamine family is would have to be the sleek humble EF341SE. Its cutaway electro body and carefully selected woods create a wining formula with excellent tone providing a first rate choice when looking for a guitar to work hard that will not let you down. It features snowflake inlays with maple back and sides in a moody all black gloss finish. The Takamine EF341SC guitar has responsive solid cedar top. The CT4BII pre amp offers plenty of clear and musical tone with easy eq control. A perfect guitarists gigging or studio tool this EF341SC has been our most popular model Japanese crafted model for many years.

We love the classic and eye catching cutaway dreadnought design combined with Cedar top and Maple back and sides. Made famous by more than just a few very highly regarded performers, you will find Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen using this exact same model on world tours and in the studio. This quality workhorse guitar has a carefully selected list of specifications and tone woods, and this attention to detail provides a great blend of clear and full tone with a balanced projection. The cedar top really helps make the EF341SC an especially responsive guitar, so this cut away dreadnought model will appeal to both flat pickers and finger style players.

EF341SC sounds great

My guitar teacher told me to get a Takamine. I spent some time looking at reviews and comments and looked at the differences in the Pro Series models. I did find the range a bit confusing to be honest, they sound like they are named after BMW ranges. But anyhow, I ended up with a Takamine EF341SC and its great. It has a really big and open kind of sound when I play with a pick and it plugs in very well. The only thing to be aware of is the case is okay but not brilliant and the black finish does show finger marks more than a natural finish would do. But other wise I would say its a 10 out of 10 in terms of playability and sound.
