A rather special one off custom built 12 frest to body Taylor guitar with carefully hand selected woods and bosting a one off Custom Shop level of craftsmanship. This 12 fret custom shop Taylor C22ce was a showcase guitar for the Namm show, so its an example of just how good these creating and intuitive 12 fret models can be.
Steeped in rootsy tradition, this all-mahogany, small-bodied custom model delivers an inspiring flavor of warm, honest, earthy tone that never goes out of style. Thanks to its intimate Grand Concert body and slender Taylor neck with a 24-7/8″ scale length, this compact acoustic-electric offers an incredibly comfortable playing experience for musicians of all stripes, enhanced further by a 12-fret configuration that provides a softer, slinkier handfeel. Under the hood, V-Class bracing serves up a surprising amount of volume and sustain for a smaller guitar while supporting exceptional pitch accuracy regardless of where you’re playing on the neck. Mother-of-pearl Windansea inlays headline a collection of visual details including black body binding and brown-stained bone bridge pins with awabi dots.
